Voices of conflict affected youth
in a partnership with Oxfam and Wapikoni, Young women and men in Jordan are finding their voices.
In the fall of 2018, I helped implement IDare's project "Tabir" (Expression). As a filmmaker mentor, I worked with 33 young men and women to film, edit, and produce their own short films in Kufranjah, Jordan. The aim of Tabir was not only to help increase participants' audiovisual technical skills but also to provide a new platform for them to express themselves and comment on the issues that matter to them. They produced a series of beautiful films on topics as diverse as the participants themselves
